The director of the movie, Imran Kazmi contacted with her and he asked her to become part of the movie, Janaan. She has already performed in two other movies, ‘Abhi Nahin to Kabhi Nahin’ and ‘Nikkah’ which were made in 1990 and this offer was attractive for her. She liked the character, which was offered to her to perform in this movie. This film has the modern approach and it is also added with state-of-the-art equipment and it has extended the appeal of the movie.
She felt that her real life personality was similar to her on screen personality as Armeena Rana. When she managed to perform in this movie, then it was looking very amazing that she is related to big and happy family, which is mentioned in the script of the movie. There was loophole in the plot of the movie that Khan could not have helped.
