On Thursday Meera was given bail in the double nikkah case. She had not been allowed to leave court till entry surety bond of Rs 50,000.
Beforehand, she arrived for the hearing of the double nikkah case filed opposed her by her previous husband Atiq Ur Rehman in the court in Lahore City.
The husband claims that another marriage contract was entered by Meera however yet being married to him. Lahore court issued Meera many orders to show up before the court however the she did not show up.
The actress mentioned that she did not get any notice. Then she was permitted to leave while the bail bond was submitted.
