Indian filmmakers have also step down over threats from Indian extremists. The preparations are underway to exit Mahira Khan from film “Raees” and Fawad Khan from film “Ae Dil Hai Mushkil”. There are considerations to replace Fawad Khan with Said Ali Khan.
According to Indian media, there was pressure on the producer of Shahrukh’s film “Raees”, Ritesh Sidhwani, to replace Mahira Khan with a new Bollywood heroine for his film. The decision about the new Bollywood heroine of this film, release in January 2017, will be taken in next two weeks.

On the other hand, producer and director Karan Joharis in trouble. Now he is considering to cast Saif Ali Khan in place of Fawad Khan for his film “Ae Dil Hae Mushkil”, to be released on Diwali, due to continuous threats from extremists but a debate about change in script of film is expected due to change in faces. It is because characters of both the heroines of this film are from Pakistan. Aishwarya and Anushka are performing the role of poetess Sana Khan and Pakistani girl Alizeh respectively.
