The Mumbai reception of Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput was a highly sophisticated celebration in which several stars including Amitabh, Alia, Sonam, Ranveer and many others were present.
On 7th July, Shahid Kapoor and Mira Rajput’s wedding in Delhi was a simple event but it was not the case during their reception in Mumbai at the Palladium Hotel on 12th July Sunday night as it was a much celebrated occasion as several Bollywood celebrities attended the ceremony including Amitabh Bachchan Arjun Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Kangana Ranaut, and Sonam Kapoor.
Mira Rajout, Shahid Kapoor’s young wife, was looking very beautiful while she was wearing a white and blue dress designed by Manish Malhottra. On the other hand, Shahid was looking elegant in a three piece suit by Kunal Rawal, a designer and his close friend.
Amitabh Bachchan shared few pictures on his blog which were from the occasion when he and the couple posed together. He wrote that he went to congratulate Shahid Kapoor and Mira over their wedding while the reception was held that day. Marriages have special place in our lives as they bring happiness to all of us.
Kangana Ranaut, Sonam Kapoor and Alia Bhatt are the co-stars of Shahid Kapoort and all of them were present on the occasion. Kangana was wearing a diamond necklace while she was looking lovely in a pink sari while a blue and green Anuradha Vakil anarkali was the dress of Sonam in which she was looking awesome.
Alia and Shahid will be seen together soon in the film “Shaandaar” while she was looking very cute in a lehanga of cream and lilac color. Shraddha Kapoor, co-star of Shahid in “Haider”, was also present on the occasion.
There were other actors also present during the reception including Preity Zinta, Dia Mirza and Ranveer Singh.
Like Shahid Kapoor, Ranveer Singh was also looking very elegant while Preity Zinta was present there unaccompanied while she was wearing a bright pink Manish Malhotra sari. Dia Mirza was looking very beautiful in Anita Dongre of peach color while she arrived along with her husband Sahil Sangha.
Apart from actors, the couple was also greeted by filmmakers including Vishal Bhardwaj, Vikas Bahl, Vikramaditya Motwane and Anurag Kashyap.
The reception was also attended by Shahid Kapoor’s step father Rajesh Khattar and his wife Vandana Sajnani. Ratna Pathak Shah also attended the ceremony along with his sons Imaad Shah and Vivan. Ratna is the elder sister of Supriya Pathak and aunt of Shahid Kapoor.
A selfie with the newlyweds was tweeted by Kriti Sanon who was also present at the reception.
