Alia Bhatt was born in Mumbai (India) on 15th March 1993 to Indian actress Soni Razdan and film director Mahesh Bhatt. On her dad’s side, Bhatt is of primarily Gujarati descent and on her mom’s side, she is of Kashmiri and German heritage. She has one half brother Rahul Bhatt and a half sister Pooja Bhatt. Producer Mukesh Bhatt is her uncle, while director Mohit Suri and actor Emraan Hashmi are her cousins. In May 2011, Bhatt graduated from Jamnabai Narsee School IDBP.
Alia Bhatt appears in Bollywood films and is an Indian film actress. With Karan Johar’s romantic comedy “Student of the Year” (2012), a box office success, she made her acting debut. For her next film, Imtiaz Ali’s “Highway” (2014), she subsequently garnered praise.
