Vinod Khanna was the leading and well known Bollywood actor and he performed in various leading movies of Bollywood film industry. He died at the age of 70 years in a Mumbai hospital on Thursday at 11:20 am as he was suffered from the cancer diseases.
He was born in 1946 in Peshawar and after the partition, his family was shifted to Mumbai and he led his whole life there. He performed din various movies and performed the roles of villain then he also performed the roles of hero in various movies. He got appreciation from the public, who liked his performance in most of the movies.
Then he started politics from the platform of Bhartia Janata party and he was elected the member of the parliament for four times from Gaurdaspur constituency. He also the lawmaker and he earned his name for making masala movies of 70s and 80s and he became the disciple of self styled godman, Osho Rajneesh. He also returned to the movies and he performed his role in the movie, ‘Dilwale’ of Shah Rukh Khan on 2015 and he performed his role.
He won the Filmfare award for his best supporting actor category for Haath Ki Safai and he also won the Film fare life time achievement award in 1999.
