Aditi Rao Haydri to perform Rekha’s role in film Fitoor
Bollywood actress Aditi Rao Haydri will perform the young role of Rekha in director Abhishek Kapoor’s new film “Fitoor”.
Main idea of the film is taken from Charles Dickens’ novel “Great Expectations” in which Aditi is performing the younger role of Miss Havisham (Rekha) while Rekha will herself perform her old age role.
The most important part of this novel is related to the beautiful valley of Kashmir in which an artist “Noor” visits Kashmir. Aditya Roy Kapoor is performing this role. Noor later meets a Kashmiri girl “Firdaus” whose role is performed by Katrina Kaif and later both marry while Begum Sahiba (Rekha) came in their way.
Few parts of this film will also be shot in London and Delhi while Ajay Devgan is also performing the role of an escaped prisoner who changes the life of Firdaus.
The shooting of film has started in Mumbai due to flood in Kashmir. Some part of the film will also be shot in the famous Dal Lake and Pahalgam in occupied Kashmir. The film will release next year.
