On Sunday night June 7th a Punjabi singer named Dharampreet who lived in Bharat Nagar in Bhatinda ended his life by hanging himself from a fan. He was suffering through a rough patch and was battling depression for some time.
Until now he has released 26 music albums and from that most of chartbusters. As per to report he could not release any album since a year. In 1993 he begin his career, he had very little work since the last few months.
This was happened in his home and his mother was around while it happened however his wife and his son had gone out for summer vacations. His mother knocked the door on Sunday night and when there was no reply, she asked the neighbors to break it open. Then he was found hanging himself from the ceiling fan. At the singer’s residence no suicide note was found. At the moment an FIR under section 174 of the IPC has been lodged.
