As we all realized, Amitabh Bachchan was away in Egypt for 3 days and he returned back along with a special gift.
He was awarded with an Honorary Doctorate by the Egyptian Academy of Arts regarding his unforgettable role in Indian movies. He tweeted regarding same writing, “Prestigious Academy of Art Cairo, awarded me a Honorary Doctorate… humbled and honoured. First for India,” that is definitely a huge deal, right friends?
He mentioned that regarding Indian cinema’s techniques its being accepted internationally. Mentioning regarding the same at the event held in Sayyed Darwish Hall, Giz, he admitted, “Culture is the soft power of the state and have to be used to switch enemies as a friend.”
He added that he has shared a close bond with Egyptians since very long period. “People of Egypt have all the time been my closest friends and this friendship will continue for my whole life.”
Anyhow, we are delighted regarding his approach and we can certainly mention that he makes us proud.
