The purpose of film “Maalik” by Ashir Azeem is to produce sense of ownership of Pakistan to its people. Ashir told that the theme of the film is a bit political and much similar to Indian film “Sarkar”. In “Maalik”, Ashir is a retired commando who sets up his own security agency to make the things right in Pakistan.
Ashir told that film “Maalik” has much higher picture than his previous drama “Dhuwan” as in the film they are taking action against corruption and political mafias.
Cast of the film include Adnan Shah Tipu, Ashir Azeem, Farhan Ali Agha and Hassan Niazi while the film will release in February 2016.

Bilal Sami is the writer of the film.
