At the moment, the film career of Shilpa Shetty is on the back seat but even then the Bollywood star says that instead as a businesswoman, she still wants to be famous as an actress. Shilpa, nowadays is busy with her husband and IPL team for promotion of his business, says that family is more important than showbiz but she’ll ever be recognized as an actor first and a businesswoman then.

She added that she’s an actor who after marriage is going to other segments and she has not say good bye to showbiz as she’s still working in advertisements and TV shows. She said that she feels guilty as a mother to go for shoot for long time and leaving her children or family. In business, you have many subordinates working under you but there’s no substitute for you in acting and you have to work yourself and thus both are different things at all.
An event was organized by Asia Spa in New Delhi, where the star of “Life in a Metro” received an award ‘Spalicious Mom’. IOSIS is Shilpa’s own chain of spa and wellness and present in many cities. Shilpa is like other moms and thinks that it’s more important for her to stay with her son Viaan, who’ll turn 2 after couple of months. She said that her son will go to school from July and she wants to spend more time with him and other family members, therefore she took less time-consuming projects like “Nach Baliye”. Shilpa recently produce her first film “Dishkiyaoon” after she got new life showbiz life after her ‘Big Brother’ win in Britain.

But unfortunately this film, stared by Harman Baweja and Sunny Deol, could not perform well on box office and Shilpa said that as a producer, she learnt her lesson with this failure. She added that the failure was due to weak script as it is the most important thing in the film and next time she’ll make an entertaining and strong content.
